It’s not hard to guess that oil is the single most important item traded between countries today! There is a stone other wise known as shale. Shale must be heated to 480 degrees Celsius (900 degrees Fahrenheit) in a kiln to give up its oil, how interesting! It’s amazing to think that experts estimate that non- OPEC oil, which comes from places such as the Gulf of Mexico, The North Sea, Norway, and Russia, could peak as early as 2015!.  Enormous natural gas fields in Iran, Qatar, Russia, and
Turkmenistan could fuel the world for more than 50 years.  Did you know that there is a car built in
Luxembourg, the miniCAT runs not on gasoline but on compressed air, I’m sure everyone wants one of those!? Fast developing nations such as china and
India are putting escalating demands on global supply.  OPEC stands for the organization of petroleum exporting countries and includes Algeria , Indonesia , Iran , Iraq , Kuwait , Libya , Nigeria , Qatar , Saudi Arabia , The United Arab Emirates , and Venezuela . Now you know a little more about oil and how it is affecting our world.

today in S.S we . . . went to a website called www.ilike2learn.com and used the Smart bord to study for some test and quizes we will be having later on. Here is another website you can go onto , to study that we also used in class . . . www.quia.com that site is where we studyed capitals of Turkey, Isreal , Syria , and Lebenon ext . Then we went onto our class blogs and looked some of our Crude Awakining paragraphs ( which were do today by the  way . . . Jan 24 , 2007 !) So now you know what we did in class today !

Do you like Chris Brown ? Well I do he is a very talented singer and he is acting in a movie coming out soon! My favorite song(s) by him are . . . Yo and Say Goodbye ! I really enjoy listening to his songs ! Also did you know that  he  was born on May 5, 1989 ? Also he was born in Tappahannock , Virgina ! Also when he was a young boy he was drawn to rap music! So my question to you is do you like Chris Brown or if not Who is your favorite singer/ actor/ actress ?

My best friend is Maria ! She is very nice and whenever we are supposed to be sereous or not supposed to be laughing well we are laughing ! We have friend ship bracelets , and always wear them! Its kinda a weird why that we became friends because we were not friends with eachother at all until 5th grade . Because I was on my 2nd year of cheerleading and maria had just started on the first day of the 2nd year and we have been friends ever since! I hope we will always be friends because friends are supposed to have fun together and we do and I think we always will !

There is soo much I have to tell you about, that is going on in my life!I have a little to tell you about Kemal Ataturk. First did you know that Kemal Ataturk was the first president for 15 years. He was also born in Salonica (( Just like me!)) . He is not just A turkish leader who leads his countrys war againts aggressors but also peaceful son of human kind who sent very important messages to other nations about the nessessity of a peacful and mutually respectful co - existence of all nations on the same planet . I had herd that there was a presidential election where you live . I belive Warren Harding won the election . Well now that world war is over i feel some what bad because of how many had gone through death . The war was like a sharp needle That bursts a baloon . But things in an other way things seem a little better such as the country turned away from problems of Europe . You know what else I herd about world war one , well that it was suppossed to be the war to end all wars ! I also herd it was the first time chemical weapons were used .
